Bowling Green, Ohio – The Akron Zips fired a 311 (+23) team total as freshman Jennifer David (Hudson, Ohio) led the squad with a 1-over par 18-hole tally at the Dolores Black Falcon Invite on Saturday.

The Zips are currently tied for sixth overall among the 15 participating teams at the par-72 Stone Ridge Golf Club that stretches 5,829 yards. David registered a 73 (+1) total en route to a fourth-place tie on the players' leaderboard. She collected nine par scores and four birdies with five bogeys for the 1-over ledger.

Sophomore Ivana Shah (Mumbai, India) followed in scoring for the Zips and currently ranks inside the Top 20 with a 77 (+5) score, while freshmen Jessica Hahn (Canton, Ohio) and sophomore Jacinta Pikunas (Youngstown, Ohio) tallied 79 (+7) and 82 (+10) scores, respectively. Hahn currently sits at 33^rd overall and Pikunas ranks 56^th, while junior Abbie Pearce (Green, Ohio) finished one-stroke behind Pikunas with an 83 (+11) for 64^th place. Freshman Riley Dean (Lewis Center, Ohio) also finished 64^th overall competing as an individual with an 83 (+11).

BGSU leads the team scoring with a 6-over par 294 as the Falcons' Nichole Cox currently stands on top of the players' leaderboard with a 1-under par 71 ledger.
