Fans Invited to NCAA Selection Show Watch Party for Akron Rifle on Tuesday

AKRON, Ohio — The University of Akron will hold an NCAA Championship Selection Show Watch Party for its rifle team on Tuesday, Feb. 25, at 3 p.m. at InfoCision Stadium (7^th floor). Doors open at 2:30 p.m.

Following its win over Ohio State in the NCAA Qualifier on Feb. 22, the Zips are expected to earn their first team seed to the NCAA Championship in school history.

The 2020 NCAA Rifle Championship, hosted by the University of Kentucky, will take place on March 13-14 at Memorial Coliseum in Lexington, Ky. Smallbore competition– individual, team, and finals– is slated for Friday, March 13, beginning at 9:30 a.m. Air rifle competition– individual, team, and finals– begins on Saturday, March 14, at 9:45 a.m.

NCAA tickets ($10) are available through Ticketmaster. All seating is general admission. Children aged 2 and under are admitted free. Doors open one hour prior to the start of each match.
