YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – University of Akron track and field senior Dara Perry (Akron, Ohio) ran a season-best time of 8.47 to capture the women's 60-meter hurdles title and lead the Zips' efforts at the Youngstown State Invitational on Friday, Jan. 18.

Perry's performance also stands as the top-rated time in the Mid-American Conference this season, while freshman Victoria Abunaw (Maumee, Ohio) crossed the line in the finals in 8.86 to place fourth.

In the men's 60-meter hurdles, redshirt sophomore Patrick Kimball (Pittsburgh, Pa.) registered a time of 8.16 to finish sixth in the finals.
