AKRON, Ohio -Â In collaboration with the University of Akron athletics department, the Zips' women's basketball, women's golf, and swimming and diving programs will host the third annual Zips' Summer Tee-Off golf outing on Friday, May 18, 2018, at Portage Country Club.
Join women's golf head coach, Jenny King, swimming and diving head coach, Brian Peresie and acting women's head basketball coach, Melissa Jackson, for the third annual Zips' Summer Tee-Off. This golf outing will benefit the Akron women's basketball, women's golf, and swimming and diving programs.
Registration for the Zips' Summer Tee-Off is scheduled to begin at 7:30 a.m., on Friday, May 18, 2018, at Portage Country Club in Akron. A shotgun start will open play at 9 a.m., and a lunch, drinks, and awards will follow play.Â
The Zips' Summer Tee-Off golf outing is an opportunity for the three programs to connect with their supporters, alumnae, and friends to help achieve their overall goal of enhancing the Akron experience for the women's basketball, women's golf, and swimming and diving student-athletes.
There are many ways fans can participate from playing golf as part of a foursome and/or taking part in one of the many sponsorship opportunities available for this event.
