AKRON, Ohio – Freshman Rita Pedroso (Porto, Portugal) was named the Zips' Student-Athlete of the Week, presented by the University of Akron, on March 6.
Pedroso helped the Zips extend their winning streak to 12 with a pair of victories in both singles and doubles action over the weekend.
