SAN MARCOS, Texas – University of Akron sophomore Tyler Fraker (Delta, Ohio) surpassed 16-4.75 (5.00m) to triumph in the men's pole vault to direct the Zips' performances on Friday, March 31, at the Bobcat Invitational.

Redshirt freshman Adam Alexander (Tiffin, Ohio) and sophomore Kamar Majid (Akron, Ohio) finished sixth and 14th, respectively, in the men's pole vault with marks of 15-5 (4.70m) and 14-5.25 (4.40m).

Competition at the Bobcat Invitational concludes on Saturday, April 1, beginning with the women's javelin at 10 a.m. ET, while the women's 4x100 relay commences running events at 4 p.m. ET.
