Akron, Ohio – The University of Akron men's and women's basketball, in conjunction with Bryant Heating and Cooling, will give away a limited-edition bobblehead series, featuring Zippy, University of Akron President Matthew Wilson, and Zips men's basketball head coach John Groce.

Each bobblehead is encased in a fully-designed custom box and when joined together at the base make a three-in-one collectable. There are 500 of each bobblehead available for fans.

The collection will be released at three separate games, starting with the Zippy bobblehead at the women's basketball game this Saturday, Dec. 2, against Maryland.

Zippy will be donning a women's basketball uniform with the number 53, the year she was born.

Fans can collect the President Wilson bobblehead on Saturday, Jan. 20, as the Zips men's basketball team battles Northern Illinois, sponsored by Henry Heating and Cooling. President Wilson will be found in a navy suit with his hands in the shape of a 'Z'.

The final bobblehead of the series, head coach John Groce holding a basketball, will be released on Saturday, February 10, when the Akron men's basketball team hosts Central Michigan.

You must pick up your bobblehead at each game. For the general giveaway, they are available on a first come, first serve basis. Doors open an hour prior to tip-off. Only one bobblehead per person.
