The Akron-Bowling Green Series: Akron owns a 30-24 advantage in the series, which began during the 1937-38 season. Akron has won 11-straight and 19-of-20 against the Falcons, including five-straight at Rhodes Arena. Last season, the Zips won 65-63 at BGSU on Feb. 9 and 57-47 in Akron on March 1. UA has not lost to BGSU since March 1, 2009, a 50-46 loss at Rhodes Arena.
Scouting the Falcons: Bowling Green enters tonight's game with a 10-3 record and is one of two lone undefeated teams in MAC play (2-0). The Falcons are 4-2 on the road, 1-0 in league play.
Richaun Holmes leads the team in both scoring (14.8 ppg) and rebounding (8.7 rpg), and is the only player averaging double figures on the squad.

- Akron opens a two-game home stand on Wednesday when it plays host to Bowling Green.
