Send Us Your 'Z' and Receive a 'Z' Shirt

AKRON, Ohio – Leading up to its 2014 celebration on October 4, the Akron track and field program is encouraging alumni of the program to show us your "Z."All alumni of the Zips track and field programs are invited to send us a photo of you flashing the "Z" sign (see photo). Correct Z-ing is with the thumbs touching with the left hand on top and index fingers extended out.
Every alumnus that sends us a photo and RSVPs for the celebration banquet will get a special "Z" shirt at the event.
Photo submissions, celebration RSVPs and t-shirt sizes should be emailed to David Gramlich, Director of Track Operations, at dhg1@uakron.edu.
Also, family, friends and alimni attending the celebration can purchase group tickets for the Akron football homecoming game on October 4. Tickets are $12 for the game, which kicks off at 2 p.m. ET on InfoCision Stadium – Summa Field. Click here for more information on how to get your tickets or call Devin Cain at (330) 972-5986.
Track Celebration Parking
Parking for the event will be in the East Campus Parking Deck (Lot 1). Zips Track and Field Celebration guests should inform the lot attendant that they are here for the Track Celebration to avoid the parking fee. There is a home football game that day so traffic will build as the day progresses.
