Morgan and Williams combine to win Kentucky State Four-Ball Championship

LEXINGTON, Ky. -- University of Akron freshmen Chandler Morgan and J.B. Williams combined to win the 2014 Kentucky State Four-Ball Championship over the weekend, hosted by the University Club of Kentucky.
Known as the Fred Allen Cup, the competition was played at the University Club's par-72, 7,013 yard Big Blue Course.
Morgan and Williams, both natives of the state of Kentucky, combined to win the Open Division by two shots with a score of 127, highlighted by a round of 62 (10-under) on Saturday.
The Zips beat out Will Bishop and Cooper Musselman of the University of Kentucky who shot a combined 129.
