Thursday Night Baseball Game Postponed, Doubleheader Friday

AKRON, Ohio – Due to inclement weather in the area, Thursday night's Diamond Classic for the Kids at Canal Park has been postponed. Akron and Kent State will play a doubleheader tomorrow with games at noon and 6 p.m., at Schoonover Stadium on the KSU campus.
Tickets for the 12 p.m., game will still benefit the Akron Children's Hospital, despite tonight's postponement. Admission is five dollars. The stadium will be cleared between games and separate admission will be required.
Akron and Kent State will play the series finale on Saturday at 6 p.m., at KSU.
The final points of 2013-14 are up for grabs this weekend in the third-annual PNC Wagon Wheel Challenge, as Akron and Kent State compete in baseball and track and field. Kent State currently leads, 6.5. to 5.5, with three points yet to be determined.
