Men's Golf in 15th Place After Second Round of Hootie at Bulls Bay

AWENDAW, S.C. – The Akron Zips men's golf team closed day two of the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate in 15th place on Monday at the Bulls Bay Golf Club.
The Zips posted a round of 309 (+21) to finish the second day with a total of 612 (+36). No. 10 Virginia surged into the lead with a 36-hole tally of 578 (+2).
Ryan Harris closed the round in a tie for 33rd place after posting a score of 8-over 80. He ended the day with a two-day total of 150 (+6).
Charlie Bull and J.B. Williams posted the top scores for the Zips on day two, carding identical rounds of 4-over 76. Bull and Williams climbed 14 spots up the leaderboard into a tie for 53rd place with total scores of 154 (+10).
Zach Gollwitzer moved into a tie for 61st place after his round of 77 (+5). He will enter the final round with a tally of 156 (+12).
Louis Birchall rounded out the scoring-five in a tie for 69th place (159, +15) after finishing the day with a score of 82 (+10).
Final-round tee times are set to begin at 8 a.m. ET on Tuesday from the first and 10th tees. The Zips will take the course beginning at 8:50 a.m. from the 10th tee. Fans can follow all the action live online via Golfstat Live Scoring.
