Women's Tennis Changes Weekend Schedule

AKRON, Ohio – The University of Akron women's tennis team announced changes to its schedule on Saturday morning.

Sunday's match versus ASA Community College will still be played at 10 a.m. ET at LaTuchie Tennis Center in Stow (driving directions), but will now be an exhibition and not count toward the team's record. Tomorrow's 3 p.m. contest versus Oakland has been postponed until March 16 at 4 p.m.

Additionally, the program's match at Charleston Southern on March 25 has been canceled.

The Zips opened what was scheduled as a three-match homestand on Friday afternoon with a 4-3 victory over UIC. UA owns a 6-0 record in dual-match play this season.
