The University of Akron basketball programs will hold their annual Basketball Media Day on Tuesday, Nov. 4, at 4 p.m. ET inside the Tommy Evans Lounge at James A. Rhodes Arena.
Men's head coach Keith Dambrot and women's head coach Jodi Kest will address the media regarding the 2014-15 season and will discuss their teams, schedules, the Mid-American Conference and other topics in advance of their respective exhibition games.
The media day event will include a press conference with members of the men's and women's basketball teams that will air live via web stream on GoZips.com, in addition to live on the radio via Sports Radio 1350 AM (WARF). Additional interview opportunities with coaches and student-athletes will be available.
Members of the media are encouraged to stay on campus after media day events have concluded to attend the Akron football game against Bowling Green at InfoCision Stadium – Summa Field. This key matchup between MAC East contenders will kick off at 8 p.m. and will air nationally on ESPN2.
