Rain Cancels Final Round of Sagamore Fall Preview

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. – Heavy rain and unplayable conditions cancelled the final round of the Sagamore Fall Preview on Tuesday, with the Akron men's golf team concluding the event in 12th place.
The field battled rain on day one but was able to complete the first two rounds of the event. With the cancelation of the final round, Illinois won the event with a total score of 570 (-6). The Zips finished with a team score of 614 (+38).
Akron will conclude its fall schedule on Monday, Oct. 20, when the squad travels to Kennesaw, Ga., for the Pinetree Intercollegiate.
