Baseball Announces Fall World Series Schedule

AKRON, Ohio – The University of Akron baseball head coach Rick Rembielak announced the Fall World Series schedule for this October on Monday.
The Fall World Series will stretch across a five game series with the squad split into two teams, Blue and Gold. The Series is set to begin on Friday, Oct. 18 at 3 p.m., and will continue the next day, Saturday, Oct. 19 at 12:45 p.m.
Following the end of the weekend, the Zips will play three straight contests from Monday, Oct. 21 through Wednesday, Oct. 23. All of those games will start at 3 p.m.
Prior to the Fall World Series, Akron baseball will be playing an exhibition against the Toronto Mets, a Canadian amateur team, on Monday, Oct. 14 at 2:30 p.m.
All games are open to the public free of charge, and will be held at Lee R. Jackson Field on the UA campus.

Oct. 14 – Exhibition vs. Toronto Mets – 2:30 p.m.
Fall World Series
Oct. 18 – Game One – 3 p.m.
Oct. 19 – Game Two – 12:45 p.m.
Oct. 21 – Game Three – 3 p.m.
Oct. 22 – Game Four – 3 p.m.
Oct. 23 – Game Five – 3 p.m.
