Cissie Leary Invitational Results in PDF Format

PHILADELPHIA – Ksenia Berestetska won the flight A singles consolation bracket of the 17th-annual Cissie Leary Invitational on Sunday. She was the only Akron player to compete in the third and final day of the event, which was hosted by Penn.

The Zips senior claimed a 6-1, 6-1 victory over Delaware's Carmen Lai in the semifinal and then topped Richmond's Anna Abadias 6-4, 6-2 in the championship. Berestetska ended the weekend with a 3-1 record against singles competition.

UA continues the fall component of its season by traveling to the Spartan Invitational at Michigan State on Sept. 27-29.
