AKRON, Ohio -- The University of Akron baseball program and head coach Rick Rembielak have announced the dates of their 2012-13 Winter Camps. Six camps will take place starting in October and continue through February. More details on each camp are listed below.

The Specialty camps of Hitting, Pitching, Catching and Infield Defense will concentrate specifically on their respective skills and techniques. Your development as a player and understanding of the game will improve through our instruction, drills, and game participation.
Instructors will include the Akron baseball coaching staff. Several of our current and former Akron players have previously participated in our camps, as well as some going on to other baseball programs.
"Our objective for all of our Akron baseball instructional camps is to give the player as much useful information in helping to develop their skills for consistent success," said Rembielak. "Many drills we use with our players are shown during camp to take home for personal use. Our goal is for all camps to be a positive experience for the student-athlete and look for each participant to learn new skills and drills, while also having a great time on our campus."
Campers must also fill out the camp waiver form prior to participation in any Akron baseball camp. Parent or legal guardian must fill out waiver for each participant. No camper will be allowed to participate without a completed and signed waiver, and no refunds will be granted if waiver is not completed.

Refund Policy: The University of Akron baseball program's refund policy states that any cancelation must take place 48 hours prior to camp day in order to receive a refund. A $25.00 administration fee applies to all cancelations.
