Dambrot is one of only two head coaches in the 85-coach diary series. He is also one of two coaches from the Mid-American Conference participating this season (Jon Borovich, Assistant Coach, Northern Illinois.
Now entering its third full season, the National Coaches' Diary Series - the first and only of its kind - is stronger than ever, having grown from 50 coaches in year one to over 85 coaches from 25 different leagues today. Each coach provides regular insight into his respective team or tackles hot-button issues in today's game, giving readers a glimpse into the life of a coach at the highest collegiate level.
Akron (10-6, 2-0 MAC) returns home on Saturday, Jan. 14, to play host to the Ohio Bobcats (13-3, 1-1 MAC) at Rhodes Arena. The game, part of a double header with the women's squad (Kent State, 1 p.m.), will tip off at 4 p.m. and will air live on ESPNU.
