Akron Baseball Fall Prospect Camp Set for October 1 & 2

AKRON, Ohio - The University of Akron baseball program and coach Rick Rembielak have announced a fall prospect camp to take place October 1 & 2, 2011.
The fall prospect camp is open to all players graduating high school in 2012, 2013, and 2014. The camp will provide players with the opportunity to showcase their skills in front of the Akron baseball staff and receive offensive and pitching instruction.
The camp begins with registration at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1 at Lee R. Jackson Baseball Field on The University of Akron campus. Camp participants will be split into teams that will then play each other throughout the duration of the camp. Teams that are not playing will receive instruction in the batting cages and bullpens. Saturday's session will end at 2:00 p.m. with Sunday's session running from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Cost of this year's camp will be $80. Interested players should contact assistant coach Fred Worth at worth@uakron.edu or (330) 972-7277 to express their interest in attending the camp or ask any questions.
