Lemon Named to Football All-MAC Team

Lemon was named to the All-Mid-American Conference Second Team,
the league office announced on Wednesday. This is his first career
all-conference award. Voting for the All-MAC Team was conducted by
the league's 13 head coaches.

Lemon closed out the season with the team lead in sacks, with seven (0.58 sacks per game). That number ranked him fourth in the MAC and tied for 51st nationally. He also led Akron in tackles for loss (10.5 for 54 yards), and posted a conference-best four fumble recoveries and three forced fumbles.
The Zips closed out their 2010 campaign on Nov. 26, with a 22-14 victory over Buffalo at InfoCision Stadium - Summa Field.
