Registration Open for Diamond Legends Classic

AKRON, Ohio - The University of Akron baseball program will host its annual golf tournament, the Diamond Legends Classic, on Saturday, Sept. 26, at Raintree Country Club in nearby Uniontown, the coaching staff announced Monday. All UA letterwinners, fans, alumni and supporters are encouraged to participate in the event.
The Classic is a major fund-raiser in which all proceeds benefit the UA baseball program, while also serving as an event designed to bring former players and fans together with the current coaching staff.Registration is set to begin at 11 a.m. with tee times starting at 1 p.m. Lunch will be served at Noon with awards and dinner following play at 5:30 p.m. As a reminder, this event is open to all UA alumni and to the public as well, so pre-registration is strongly encouraged.
