Men's Soccer to Face North Carolina on ESPNU Friday

The top-seeded University of Akron men's soccer team will face
fifth-seeded North Carolina in the second of two national semifinal
matches on Friday, Dec. 11, at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary,
N.C.
Kickoff is slated for 7:30 p.m. (EST). The game will be shown live
on ESPNU and on tape delay on ESPN2 on Dec. 12, starting at 11
a.m.
No. 2 Virginia and No. 3 Wake Forest will play in the first
semifinal game at 5 p.m. on ESPN2 Friday. The winners will meet in
the national championship game on Sunday, December 13, at 1 p.m. on
ESPN2. Fans can also listen live locally to all Akron games on 1350
AM (WARF).
The Zips (23-0-0) matched the NCAA record for most consecutive wins
in a single season last Saturday against Tulsa and is attempting to
become the first team in 35 years to win a national championship
with a perfect record.
