Zachary Moody was named a graduate assistant on the Akron women’s swimming and diving staff prior to the start of the 2023-24 season.
A graduate of Ball State University (IN), Moody was a three-time Academic All-MAC Team member. He was also named to the 2022-23 Academic All-District Men’s Swimming and Diving Team by the College Sports Communicators.
Moody was a four-year member of the swimming and diving team at Ball State University, and currently holds Top-10 Times in the 1000 and 1650 freestyles. He also competed in the 500 freestyle and 400 individual medley.
A native of Charleston, South Carolina, Moody graduated with a bachelor’s degree in mathematical economics, with a minor in business. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in sports science/coaching from Akron.
