• Scored in the 60-meters and (6.87) and 200-meters (22.17) at the Mark Colligan Memorial (Jan. 28)
• Ran the lead leg of the 4x100 relay team that finished fifth at the MAC Outdoor Championships (May 12) with a time of 41.64
at Akron
• Was a four-year letter-winner on the football team, starting 34 games at cornerback
• Finished fifth on the team with 45 tackles, including 30 solos, as a senior in 2011
• Tallied 52 tackles (third on the team) as a junior, adding six tackles for a loss, five pass breakups, two interceptions and one blocked punt
Prior to Akron
• Ran the 100m in 10.82 and the 200m in 21.78 at Southwest Dekalb HS
• Was a member of the 2007 state championship track team
• Also played football, earning a spot on the Dekalb County All-Star team as a senior, getting 58 tackles with two sacks and three interceptions
• Voted his team’s “Best Specialist” in his junior year, while recording 54 tackles, 12 rushes for 136 yards and catching 11 passes for 242 yards

• Parents are Manley Waller, Jr., and Gwen Torrence
• Has one sister, Emon, and two brothers, Joshua and Alec
• His mother, Gwen, was an Olympic gold medalist in the 200m (1992) and two-time winner of the 4x100 relay (1992 and ’96) … she additionally won gold in the 100m at the 1994 Goodwill Games and the ’95 World Championships, while winning the bronze at the 1992 Olympics in the 100m and placing fifth in the event at the ’92 Olympics, and won a silver medal at the ’92 Olympics for the 4x400 relay
