• Won the long jump at the Sparky Adams Invitational(23-8.75).
at Dixie High School:
• Won an Ohio Division II title as a junior in thelong jump (22-10). As a senior, was the first person in hisschool’s history to qualify for the state championships inthree events.
• Set his school’s record in the high jump and 100meters.
• Was a standout in basketball, earning district andconference Player of the Year honors as a senior and leading hisconference in assists as a sophomore. Also played baseball andsoccer.
