Earned Akron’s Scholar Baller honor for posting atleast a 3.0 GPA for the academic year.
Qualified for the NCAA Mideast Regional in the pole vault.Just missed an automatic bid to the NCAA Outdoors in the high jump.While she and two others tied for fourth with a vault of 12-11.75(the second-best height in UA history), an NCAA rule was institutedto determine a distinct fifth-place finisher for automaticqualification. In the jump-off, Goldsmith Dunn cleared the 12-11.75but was medically unable to continue and, even though one of hercompetitors, Indiana State’s Kylie Hutson, did not clear aheight, Hutson earned the final bid from the Mideast Region.
Earned second team All-MAC honors during the outdoorsseason, placing second at the conference championships(12-9.50).
Scored at the MAC Indoors, placing third (12-7.50).

Named 2003 Division I All-Ohio and Athleteof the Year.
Received the 2001 Andy GriffithSportsmanship Award.
