Zippy's Kids Club FAQ
What is Zippy’s Kids Club?
Zippy’s Kids Club is the official kid’s club for Zips fans 6th grade and younger.
Once I join, how do I receive my membership card and membership kit?
If joining online or mailing in your registration, you may pick up your membership card and kit at any home Akron Zips sporting event. Membership cards can be mailed to you along with your gift upon request.
I have my membership card and kit, now what do I do?
You are ready to attend the designated Zippy’s Kids Club athletic and special events! Present your membership card to our ticket office on game day for your free admission.
How will I know when there is a Zippy’s Kids Club event?
When a Zippy’s Kids Club (at Football, Volleyball, Women’s Soccer, Men’s Soccer, Women’s Basketball, Men’s Basketball, and Softball) or a special event is announced, you will be notified by email, on GoZips.com, and on our Facebook page.
I’ve lost my membership card, can I get a replacement?
Email us at kidsclub@uakron.edu and we will issue you a replacement membership card.
When does my membership expire?
May 30, 2020

PUBLICITY/IMAGE/VOICE PERMISSION
Photographs or video/audio recordings may be taken of you or your child during Zippy’s Kids Club activities. Unless you request otherwise, your application will be considered permission for the University of Akron and the Department of Athletics to photograph, film, audio/video tape, record and/or televise your image and/or voice or the image and/or voice of your child for use in any publications or promotional materials, in any medium now known or developed in the future without any restrictions. If you object to UA using your or your child’s image or voice in this manner, please notify the Department of Athletics, in writing, at the time of your application.
WAIVER and RELEASE FROM LIABILITY
As a participant in the Zippy’s Kids Club, your child may engage in activities that could cause injury, including but not limited to, playing physical games, face painting, using inflatable play toys, and interacting with college athletes or community representatives. Your application will be considered permission for your child to participate in these activities and that you agree to release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue the State of Ohio, the Board of Regents of the State of Ohio, University of Akron, the Department of Athletics, and any of the officers, servants, agents and employees of the above-mentioned entities for any injury or liability arising out of or that occurs as a result of participation in the activities of the Zippy’s Kids Club. If you object to your child participating in any activity, please notify the Department of Athletics, in writing, at the time of your application.

Any kid 6th grade and younger is eligible to register for a Zippy’s Kids Club membership. The Zippy’s Kids Club is open to any and all participants who meet the age restrictions.
