USA Development Team
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – For the second consecutive year, University of Akron rifle's Andre Gross (Webster, N.Y.) has been named to the National Development Team (NDT), USA Shooting announced on Friday.
The best-of-the-best from across the nation are individually invited to be placed on this prestigious team. USA National Olympic coach Dan Durbin will work with members of the team to develop our future USA Olympians. NDT members are periodically invited to the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs for special developmental clinics. Additionally, members of the NDT are sponsored by USA Shooting and sent to different international events to be used as selection matches and to earn Olympic quota slots for the USA.
Dates for the 2020 USA Shooting National Championships have been postponed and will be announced on a future date.
Gross, who earned a Bronze medal last summer at the USA Shooting National Championships, will participate in three-position smallbore. He finished 12th overall in smallbore and third overall in the junior category.
