AKRON, Ohio – The University of Akron track and field team is primed to compete next week at the NCAA East Preliminary Round in Tampa, Fla., May 24-26, where 22 Zips are expected to vie for berths at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, June 6-9, in Eugene, Ore.
A limited number of plane tickets to travel with the Zips and support their efforts on their way to the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships to this championship meet are available for a limited time for purchase.
The NCAA East Preliminary Round will be hosted by the University of South Florida over the course of three days, May 24-26, at the USF Track and Field Stadium.
We will be selling these tickets for $206.85 for the round trip. Tickets will be sold on a first-come first-serve basis. Fans purchasing tickets will be responsible for local transportation, lodging and all other expenses for the trip.
