HILLSDALE, Mich. – University of Akron freshman Whitney Wendling (Lexington, Ohio) registered a career-best time of 11:53.29 to garner a fifth-place performance in the women's 3,000-meter steeplechase on the opening night of the Hillsdale College Gina Relays on Thursday, April 26.

Redshirt junior Elizabeth Mosier (Austintown, Ohio) recorded a career-best time of 17:36.06 to place eighth in the women's 5,000 meters, while redshirt junior Ashley Murray (Seville, Ohio) posted a time of 17:50.33 to finish 16th.

Redshirt sophomore Tevin Brown (Toledo, Ohio) registered a career-best time of 15:09.92 in the men's 5,000 meters to place 22nd.

Competition continues at the Hillsdale College Gina Relays on Friday, April 27.
