Tuesday Night Track and Field Clinic Canceled For Jan. 7

AKRON, Ohio – Tomorrow's Tuesday Night Clinic has been canceled due to inclement weather conditions, The University of Akron track and field program announced Monday.
The series, which is held in the Stile Athletics Field House, will resume next Tuesday, Jan. 14, and continue each week until March 4. Cost is $10 per session with registration beginning at 6:30 p.m. The clinic will run from 7-9 p.m.
The Tuesday Night Clinics are designed to provide athletes the opportunity to work out in our state-of-the-art facility and to receive instruction from University of Akron coaches. The University of Akron Stile Athletics Field House contains a 300m Mondo six-lane track encompassing a 120-yard astroplay turf field. There are two High Jump, Long Jump, and Pole Vault pits as well as two Shot Put circles and a Discus circle.
Instruction and supervision is provided by UA coaches in the following events: Sprints, Hurdles, Distance, High Jump, Long Jump, Pole Vault, and Throws. Athletes may use the facility for their own workouts as well, provided they register and respect the facility/clinic rules.
