AKRON, Ohio – The University of Akron men's basketball contest tonight vs. Marshall is still on as scheduled, with tip off set for 7 p.m. ET.
It was announced earlier in the day that The University of Akron will close at 2 p.m. ET.
Fans heading to the game are asked to allow plenty of time for travel as roads may be slippery due to the current snowy conditions. University crews will continue to work throughout the afternoon and into the evening to clear parking lots and side walks.
Gates will open at 6 p.m. Fans still coming to the game can purchase $5 general admission tickets by showing their AAA Auto Club membership card. Also, as part of Youth Night, general admission tickets are just $5 for youth aged 14 and under.
