AKRON, Ohio – Due to the remarkable feedback Akron Basketball received following the debut of its new black jerseys, it was announced that replica and authentic versions would be offered for sale to the public. Orders were accepted at the home game vs. Ohio on February 2 and the first supply of replica apparel sold out on that day.
