AKRON, Ohio – The University of Akron track and field program announced Wednesday the list of participants for this Friday's Zips Invitational.
Stile Athletics Field House will once again be the host site of the annual meet, which will also feature athletes from Ashland, Bowling Green, Malone, Youngstown State and others. The Zips' final home meet of the indoor season will begin with the field events at 6:30 p.m. Running events will start at 7:15 p.m.
Tickets are $6 and Family Packs (two adults and two youths or one adult and three youths) are $20. UA students with valid ID will be admitted free of charge. All fans should enter through the UA student recreation center main entrance. Doors will open to the public at 5:30 p.m.

The meet will serve as the final tune-up before next weekend's 2013 Mid-American Conference Indoor Championships, which will be hosted by Eastern Michigan University from Feb. 22-23.
