The University of Akron basketball programs will hold their annual Basketball Media Day on Wednesday, Oct. 23, inside the Tommy Evans Lounge at James A. Rhodes Arena.
Lunch will be served at 11 a.m. and media members attending the event can park in Lot 2, which is located next to Rhodes Arena.
Men's head coach Keith Dambrot and women's head coach Jodi Kest will address the media regarding the 2013-14 season and will discuss their teams, schedules, the Mid-American Conference and other topics in advance of their respective exhibition games.
The media day event will include lunch, a press conference with members of the men's and women's basketball teams, interview opportunities and open practices for the men's (before) and women's (after) programs.
