Fraizer (Wert) Qualifies for NCAA Indoor Meet

NCAA Meet Participant Lists Revealed (NCAA.com)
AKRON, Ohio – University of Akron senior Valerie Fraizer (Wert) will compete in the weight throw at the 2012 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships, set to run March 9-10 in Nampa, Idaho, inside Boise State's Jacksons Track at the Idaho Center. The Division I Men's and Women's Track and Field Committee announced the list of participants on Monday.
Fraizer, who was named Most Outstanding Field Performer at last month's Mid-American Conference Indoor Championships, is seeded No. 17 in the NCAA event. A First-Team All-MAC honoree, she won the weight throw at the league meet with a distance of 68-01.50, her seed mark at the national meet.
ESPN3 will stream the championships live on March 9 from 7:30-11:45 p.m. ET and March 10 from 8-11:15 p.m. ET. A taped delay of the event will air on March 18 at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPNU.
NCAA.com and BroncoSports.com will stream what ESPN3 is not covering on Friday (noon-7:30 p.m. ET) and Saturday (12:30-8 pm ET).
