Tennis Goes 2-1 At Prairie View A&M Invite

PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas - The University of Akron tennis team posted a 2-1 mark at this weekend's Prairie View A&M Invitational. The Zips (4-7) lost to Texas A&M Corpus-Christi, 6-1, and defeated Texas Southern, 5-2, on Friday; before catching Prairie View A&M, 6-1, on Saturday.
Akron returns to the court on March 18, when it travels to Michigan State for an 8 p.m. EST match. The Zips open Mid-American Conference play the next weekend, with matches at Bowling Green on March 25 and at Western Michigan a day later.
