Akron Softball Rained Out on Final Day of College of Charleston Classic

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Akron Zips' final game of the College of Charleston Classic against Kennesaw State was rained out on Sunday.

The Zips finished the weekend 0-4 and are now 3-6 on the season following their second tournament in as many weekends.

Akron returns to action on March 3 when the squad travels to Fairfax, Va., for the Patriot Classic. The Zips will face Marist and host George Mason on Saturday and Rider and Marist on Sunday.
