2017 OHIO COLLEGIATE SOCCER ASSOCIATION ACADEMIC ALL-OHIO MEN'S SOCCER D1 AWARDS (PDF)
AKRON, Ohio – University of Akron Men's Soccer juniors Morgan Hackworth (Bradenton, Fla.) and Joe Korb (Willowick, Ohio) were honored for their work in the classroom as the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association named the Zips' duo to its 2017 Academic All-Ohio D1 men's soccer team on Wednesday, Dec. 20.
A public relations major, boasting a 3.80 grade point average, Hackworth appeared in 22 games for the Zips, including four starts, and finished second on the team collecting five assists.
Maintaining a 3.332 GPA majoring in marketing management, Korb played in 11 contests for Akron this season, including five starts and recorded a pair of assists.
