Prior to Akron: Ranked 635th by the ETA (Tennis Europe) among women of all ages in limited playing time ... reached the doubles semifinals and the singles round of 16 at the Eddie Herr Championships, with victories over eight players ranked in the top-800 in the International Tennis Federation (ITF) world rankings, including three over top-300 players.

Personal: Born Jan. 10, 1996 ... daughter of Vladimir and Svetlana Shkundina ... has one brother, Anton, and one sister, Vera ... sister is a senior tennis player Kennesaw State (competes at No. 1 singles) and was coached at KSU by current Akron coach Brandon Padgett.
